Every ranking position on RanksPlus — global, country, category, or city — is decided by one thing: the highest current bid in that scope. There's no algorithm weighing engagement, no opaque scoring formula, and no pay-to-play tiers hidden behind a paywall. The business with the highest transparent bid in a given scope holds that position, full stop.

When you place a bid, we recompute every scope your business belongs to — global, your country, your category, and your city — and your rank updates immediately. If someone bids higher than you afterward, you'll see it reflected on your dashboard the next time the page loads, along with exactly how much more you'd need to bid to reclaim your spot.

This is deliberately simple. We think a ranking marketplace should be auditable: any business owner can look at the numbers and understand exactly why they're ranked where they are, and exactly what it would cost to move up.
