Reading your analytics: what views, clicks, and impressions actually mean

By RanksPlus Team

Impressions count every time your listing appeared in a ranking table, search result, or category page โ€” even if nobody clicked. Profile views count an actual visit to your business page. The gap between the two is your click-through rate, and it's the number most worth watching.

A high impression count with a low view count usually means your rank is good but your listing isn't compelling enough to click โ€” a stronger logo, sharper description, or better review count often helps more than a higher bid at that point.

Website clicks and contact clicks are the numbers that map most directly to revenue. If those are flat while impressions climb, it's worth checking whether your offerings and pricing are current.
